Scandinavian Christmas is first and foremost about old traditions, but it can also be a tradition to buy something new. The collecting of Holmegaard’s classic Christmas Glass series is a something of an annual ritual for many -  they make such great collectors' items or unusual gifts - and mark the start of a genuine Danish Christmas.

Holmegaard are Denmark's oldest and largest glassworks and have been associated with some of Scandinavia's top designers since they were established in 1825. Here at the Scandinavian Shop, we like to support some of the more established and iconic Nordic brands as well as up-and-coming designers, and Holmegaard definitely fall into the former category.
