Created for Danish brand Menu by award-winning Norwegian design duo Anderssen & Voll, the Troll Vase takes its inspiration from the mythological water spirit Nøkken and the result is a superbly shaped vessel, rounded and solid yet elegant and contemporary. The designers have worked with the properties of glass, its thickness and its colour to achieve the striking contrast in appearance between the thick, darker base and the thinner, almost transparent top. This is a fine piece of Scandinavian glass which will make a bold statement, with or without flowers.
